![]() The new catalog section in DevInfo 7 allows users to easily navigate through available DevInfo adaptations by geographic location, as well as by version of the software. DevInfo, an easily customizable and royalty-free database system owned by the United Nations, has been adapted over 400 times by countries, regions, and international agencies. Since 1999, over 120 nations have created a DevInfo database, allowing users to access important socio-economic information. For instance, the Nepalese Central Bureau of Statistics launched NepalInfo (in what year), an adaptation with data on the economy, education, health, gender, and other sectors. NepalInfo contains 369 indicators to browse, visualize, and share. The default database on the main DevInfo homepage (Millennium Development Goals 2012) contains global, regional, and national information. Country adaptations present users with an opportunity to explore disparities on the sub-national level. The DevInfo 7 catalog contains basic information for each adaptation, including the time period and number of geographical areas covered. Contact information is also provided in case users have any questions or queries about the adaptation. Many DevInfo databases have been made available online, either through the Catalog or by accessing www.devinfo.info and selecting the database of choice in the upper left corner.
