CSF is a nonprofit organization applying information technology for sustainable development |
We are engaging with communities in the debate to rethink development. We are striving to
expand options by building capacities in ways that lead to good development outcomes sustained by responsible development processes. We are increasing people’s choices through innovations that harness the power of data to benefit communities economically, socially, and environmentally, in support of the 2030 Agenda. |
Consultative status with UN ECOSOC |
CSF's consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC) enables us to actively engage with the United Nations Secretariat, Programmes, Funds and Agencies in a number of ways to promote our mission and the 2030 Agenda around the world.
CSF submitted a written statement at the 56th session of the United Nations Commission for Social Development (New York, 31 Jan – 7 Feb 2018). This statement was made in support of the follow-up to the World Summit for Social Development and the twenty-fourth special session of the General Assembly. The statement responds to the priority theme: strategies for the eradication of poverty to achieve sustainable development for all.
