Integration of a Learning Management System with OpenEMIS in the Bahamas

The OpenEMIS Bahamas project aims to strengthen education data infrastructure by integrating learning management and education management information systems. 

To meet the needs of the Ministry of Education in the Bahamas, OpenEMIS is being implemented by a local partner called 1on1 with CSF backstopping and support. In this project, a Learning Management System (LMS) is being integrated with OpenEMIS to allow for critical data exchange and to support the closing of education gaps in the country.

The LMS draws the following data: student names, records, teachers and classes and shares back to OpenEMIS receives back student marks and learning outcomes.
