OpenEMIS Kyrgyzstan Scoping Mission and Pilot Part A

In 2018, OpenEMIS technical staff met with counterparts from the Ministry of Education and Science (MoES) to discuss implementation of an OpenEMIS pilot project in Kyrgyzstan.

During the one week mission, Community Systems Foundation conducted a needs assessment to inform the implementation of OpenEMIS in Kyrgyzstan. The mission included discussions around nationwide deployment of OpenEMIS and training for key Ministry personnel on OpenEMIS Core. 

Following meetings with the Education and Science Minister on supporting the monitoring of the Education Sector Strategy and the visualization of data through OpenEMIS Dashboard Builder, piloting of OpenEMIS commenced.  OpenEMIS technical team has provided backstopping to the Ministry through the pilot phase activities.
