The National Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) has adapted Data For All to monitor progress of Malikunnafoni

In continuation of a longstanding partnership, the INSTAT team from Mali visited the DFA Lab for advanced trainings on the Data For All toolkit and to better understand how Malikunnafoni can be used to encourage evidence-based decision-making across the government. 

​Having utilized DevInfo since 2006, counterparts from Mali have now transitioned their DevInfo adaptation, Malikunnafoni, to Data For All. Lacking the ability to fully disseminate their vast repository of data, Data For All is strengthening national efforts through data-driven dashboards and a user-friendly mobile application.

Focusing on the dissemination of data was identified as a critical step in the promotion and facilitation of evidence-based decisions at the national-level in Mali, especially regarding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the national Poverty Reduction Strategy.
