Development of Materials for Bottleneck Analysis including Country Health Profiles and BNA Report As a first step in EQUIST implementation in Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Health conducted a bottleneck analysis and have request to support advocacy effort by building country-specific health materials to further understand the Health, Nutrition, and Education status of the country.
To supplement Kyrgyzstan’s efforts to use EQUIST for national health planning, Community Systems Foundation has developed country specific materials to support the analysis of bottlenecks in the health sector. The country and sub-national level facts sheets outline the status MNCH, nutrition, immunization, ECD and education in the country. The Bottleneck Analysis Report provides an overview and situational analysis of Kyrgyzstan and it’s region in the context of maternal and newborn, child health and nutrition and immunization. The Bottleneck Analysis was conducted on EQUIST and the results of the analysis were reflected in the report. Remote advanced trainings took place in mid-2020 for administrative users of the application. An Analyst training will be conducted in-country for all relevant Ministry of Health staff to build capacity on the front-end use of EQUIST and conducting bottleneck analysis.
