Open Data Portal to Monitor Statistical Indicators, Show Metadata and Data Profiles

The National Statistical Office in Chad is using Data For All tool to monitor their Statistical Indicators in TChadInfo. 

With a vast data repository and desire to use the data for informed decision-making, the National Statistical Office and Community Systems Foundation collaborated to bring the ChadData platform online. 

The platform is enabling the dissemination of data nationwide through sector specific Data Dashboards, a Metadata Hub and engaging Data Profiles. The Metadata Hub is a one-of-kind data tool for Chad. This allows users of the platform to understand the definition of all indicators within the platform and understand how the data for the indicators is captured. 

In 2020, NSO Chad will have undergone several day of remote training on the data application built into the system. In the latter part of the year, several focal points will have undergone an advanced lab training in New Delhi, India to further understand the Data For All toolkit and how it can be applied in Chad and throughout the region. ​
