Open Document Portal to Support Legal Scholars in Burundi

Following an in-country requirements gathering session with UNDP Burundi and government stakeholder, Community Systems Foundation developed the Burundi Legal Portal to support the government’s effort in providing a portal with legislation available to everyone in the country. 

With various laws, acts, theoretical papers, treaties, conventions and documents, the portal has become a center for documentation (Centre d'Etudes et de  documentation Juridique). CSF also supported the government in the uploading of the documents to the portal. 

To ensure the portal is sustainable, CSF training specialists  conducted a week-long training mission Gitega, Burundi to training government counterparts. ​
