Community Systems Foundation (CSF) assisted the government of Guyana to strengthen systems to monitor the Education Sector Plan through OpenEMIS Monitoring.
In the latest project in support to the Ministry of Education, Community Systems Foundation (CSF) provided software enhancements and advanced reporting options to ensure the Ministry is able to effectively monitor and report on Guyana’s "Education Strategic Plan (ESP) 2021- 2025 - Vision 2030". The primary theme of the plan is to provide opportunities that ensure quality, equitable education that also focuses on live long learning. Through the integration of OpenEMIS Monitoring into their education system, the main policy priorities will be monitored in an online, collaborative space where all Ministry personnel can access and contribute. Three of the main objectives focus on improving their governance and accountability, performance at all levels and efficiency of the education system. Similarly, OpenEMIS Monitoring is being used to monitoring the Operational Plan that the Ministry has developed to achieve the ESP.
