Tracking progress on Vision 2030 Egypt through a national monitoring platform

The Ministry of Social Solidarity, Egypt is adapting DFA Monitoring to strengthen the use of data in planning, monitoring and reporting in the programming and outreach of the Ministry. 

With the Ministry of Social Solidarity (MoSS), Community Systems Foundation is working to build national data management and data dissemination capacity. This will be done through the establishment of a statistical database which will support the country in disseminating data through dashboards and a mobile application. Additionally, DFA Monitoring will be configured to support the monitoring of Vision 2030 Egypt.

In doing so, the three core sectors of the MoSS (protection, care, development) will be monitored more closely to understand how the Ministry’s work contributes to the national development plan and the League of Arab States Multidimensional Poverty Alleviation Strategy.
