Multi-sectorial Database; National Development Planning; Community Level Statistical Database

​CSF is working with the PIOJ to update the Vision 2030 Jamaica database and add indicators and data related to the Community Renewal Programme, which support in the achievement of inclusive growth and equitable national development in the country.

The Community Renewal Programme (CRP), was launched in 2011 to foster socioeconomic well-being and improve the quality of life for residents of Jamaica's most volatile and vulnerable communities.

Through an ongoing collaboration with the Planning Institute of Jamaica, CSF have expanded the Vision 2030 Jamaica Platform to incorporate the CRP data and indicators. This allowed CSF and PIOJ to create new indicators in the statistical database that can be tracked at the community level through an evidence-based dashboard and Metadata Hub, which offers a detailed definition, computational techniques, and constraints on each indicator. 

With the CRP indicators being integrated into the existing database, this Data4Development platform is becoming a multi-sectoral initiative, creating an integrated strategy to guide national development planning.
