With volunteers across 38 agencies stationed in 129 countries, UN Volunteers is deploying a tool to streamline its Volunteer Management Cycle (VMC) internationally.
In 2016, CSF was assigned to redevelop a platform on which UN Volunteers could run its VMC processes. The integrated solution speeds up recruitment and assignment of volunteer workers, and in doing so, reduces the workload of UN Volunteer personnel both at headquarters and in the field. To facilitate this, extensive engagement consisting of training field and HQ users on the tools were done to help personnel understand the modules. This helps users know how to best utilize the system to make the idea of cleaner cycles a reality.
