OpenEMIS Vaccinations; Supporting Vaccination Action Plans; Ensuring safe re-openings of schools

Due to growing educational disparities from the COVID-19 Pandemic, CSF has developed the OpenEMIS Health and Vaccination Module to assist with vaccination and testing campaigns and support countries as they return to in-person learning.

Community System Foundation, in collaboration with the UNESCO's’ Global Education Coalition, has launched the Health and Vaccination Module, which collects and records vaccination and health test status of students and staff to meet the needs of a rapid data collection system on vaccination and testing created by the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This module was designed by CSF to be a stand-alone application within OpenEMIS Core, which allows for the gathering, processing, and management of data on vaccination and testing in a customizable web application. By integrating the vaccine readiness feature into OpenEMIS, CSF is supporting governments, health workers, and partners to launch, refine, and optimize uptake of their COVID-19 vaccination programmes. 

The Health and Vaccination Module is a broad solution that extends beyond the COVID-19 Pandemic and allows countries to manage data on any student and staff vaccinations and health screenings.
