UNESCO Jordan OpenEMIS P2356

Community Systems Foundation (CSF) has assisted the government of Jordan in continued enhancement of a state-of-the-art EMIS using OpenEMIS software.  Project work aligns with the priorities for action outlined in the MOE EMIS Operational Plan, building capacity through the Ministry to administer and manage the EMIS independently.

Through a long standing partnership with UNESCO Jordan in support of the Ministry of Education, CSF has provided technical assistance in the roll out of OpenEMIS across the education sector in Jordan.  Recent work focused on enhancement of OpenEMIS software, the integration of EMIS with other systems, as well as capacity building for administrators and technical staff to sustainably maintain and administer OpenEMIS on behalf of the Ministry.  

CSF is further supporting the enhancement of OpenEMIS Monitoring to provide the Ministry with systems to monitor and report progress on the Education Sector Plan, financial allocations and expenditure on key priorities and action.  

This work aligns to support the MOE EMIS Policy and plans outlined in the EMIS Operational Plan.
