Web portal for real-time monitoring The Anemia Free India dashboard and mobile application provide information on major country-level targets towards reducing the prevalence of anemia.
In 2017, UNICEF and the Government of India commissioned the creation of a web-based platform for nutrition-focused decision making by program managers. The project aims to facilitate monitoring of nutrition data to ultimately achieve a 50 percent in anemia prevalence by 2022. The dashboard houses key data from the Health Management Information System, National Family Health Survey, and Census India. It provides online interactive maps and graphs in a user-friendly manner, with profiles featuring progress at the national, state, and district level. The dashboard and mobile application disaggregate data across time periods for various social groups. Information for key indicators can be downloaded as data profiles, shared in quarterly progress reports, or presented using a variety of resource materials for advocacy and strategic decision-making.
