Utilizing DFA Monitoring to Strengthen Strategic Planning in Higher Education

To improve planning, monitoring and reporting processes within a higher education institution, Community Systems Foundation (CSF) supported Alma College to use the results-based monitoring tool called Data For All (DFA) Monitoring. This open-source software solution is now tracking the progress toward the Evergreen 2021-2025 Strategic Plan. 

CSF's findings can be reviewed in the White Paper attached below. As highlighted, CSF identifies the challenges faced by Alma College and analyzes the immediate and projected impacts of utilizing DFA Monitoring as a results-based management solution in higher education. 

The system was configured to monitor the strategic plan, improve the  tracking of key performance indicators and offer a platform to be more transparent and accountable with the Board of Trustees, campus and the broader community.
